Kate Berry is the founder of OK Motels, and fittingly, finding her colours involved setting off on a road trip to a country Victoria music festival, a stay in an old motel, a secondary impromtu trip to Denniliquin with a beer stop at the RSL plus some op-shopping, and then a stop by the road on the way home... perhaps because we had completely forgotten about our mission until that moment, but definitely to appreciate the colour scheme that speaks to her heart of hearts: the dry grey and yellow grasses and grey blue sky of a country Victorian road trip, this time cut through with a rusting white sign with 'Motel' emblazoned in red.
